J.C. Somers Vintner - In the News
2020 Garnier Vineyard - Tempranillo RoséSourced from Tempranillo grown in the Garnier Vineyard, which is located in the tiny town of Mosier, Oregon, the grapevines have a front seat view of the Columbia River. That river influence, paired with Jay Somers’ expert winemaking skills, produced a rosé with a weighty, full mouthfeel. Flavors of apricots and peaches were balanced with a tart, mouthwatering finish filled with cherries and lemon zest. Quite textured and layered, this rosé would please anyone who prefers to drink solely red wine.

Review of our 2020 Whole Lotta Rosé
"Made mostly using red grapes grown at the Garnier Vineyard, which overlooks the mighty Columbia River and the Washington basalt cliffs, this rosé can best be described as a whole lotta fun! A blend of three varietals; Grenache, Syrah, and Tempranillo, don’t let the wine’s paleness throw ya, it’s chockfull of dry tartness. Jay Somers is a seasoned winemaker so don’t be surprised if, after you taste one of his wines, you find yourself seeking out them vintage after vintage."
